WS_FTP Instructions |

Personal webspace is included as part of your DCSI e-mail service. To use your webspace you need to activate it.
Once activated, you can transfer the website files to our members server using FTP.
WS_FTP is a simple FTP program that is free for non-commercial use.
If you need to, you can download it here
Once you have installed WS_FTP, you will need to enter our member server details.
The first time you start WS_FTP you will be presented with the Session Properties.
Click the New button and fill in the details:
Profile Name: DCSI Members Server
Host Name/Address: members.dcsi.net.au
Host Type: Automatic detect
User ID: enter your username
Password: enter your password
if you don't want to type in your password all the time, tick the Save Pwd box
When you click OK, WS_FTP will establish a connection to our server.
On the left hand side you will see the files on your local computer, on the right hand side you will see your files on our members server.
The files you want to publish to the Internet must be put in the webspace folder. Double-click the webspace folder to open it.
Locate the files that make up your website on your local computer. Select the files you want to transfer.
To copy them to the server click to start the transfer.
That's it! To view your site go to:
http://members.dcsi.net.au/username
