terms and fees
Our standard Terms of Service apply to all services. Additionally, the following terms apply to Wireless broadband:
installation
Free installation for standard wireless. Premium wireless installation $200 up-front or an additional $12.50/mth for 24 months. 4-port wired router included with all installations, wireless router option available for an additional fee.
plan changes
Change your plan at any time without incurring any additional fees. Changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period.
cancellations
If you cancel your service within the first 6 months of it being active, a fee of $160 will apply.
relocations
If you move house, we'll need to install the service at the new premises. You can relocate your service for free once every 2 years, but relocations outside of
this timeframe may incur a fee of $150. Please contact us well in advance, so that we can book the installation and have your service up and running when you move in.
speeds
Standard wireless will operate at speeds of up to 3Mbps download and 1Mbps upload. The average download speed of the service is approximately 1.5 Mbps.
Premium wireless services operate at speeds of up to 12Mbps download and 1Mbps upload.
When we say "up to", the speeds being quoted are theoretical maximums. The speed you receive in various circumstances depends on many factors, including
your computer and local network configuration, as well as upstream network congestion and the performance of the remote end.
shaping
Your data allowance (or quota) is metered in both direction – both downloads and uploads count toward your limit. If you exceed your limit, you won't be charged
any extra, but your service will be slowed down to 64 kbps for the first 500mb over the limit, and 32kbps thereafter.
data blocks
Data blocks are only valid for the usage period they are purchased in. When your monthly reset date comes, any unused data blocks will be forfeited.
